Elbow Room at the Movies:  Newtown Documentary Screening

Newtown Doc Movie posterOn Saturday, July 15, Elbow Room Magazine will host a screening of “Newtown” at The Guild Cinema at 1 p.m.

“Newtown” is a documentary film directed by Kim A. Snyder about the aftermath of gun violence in the Connecticut town that suffered the shooting deaths of 26 people, 20 of them small children, at Sandy Hook Elementary on December 14, 2012 (newtownfilm.com). The film was made three years after the school shootings.

Tickets are $5 at the door, cash or check only, and a donation will be made to New Mexicans To Prevent Gun Violence. Seating is limited so please sign up on this page to attend.
